Gerard Hewitt Practice Principal
Gerard, or Ged as he is commonly called, established G.E.Hewitt & Co. in 1998 (see the ‘Our History’ tab). With a depth of experience and qualifications, Gerard and his team have provided financial, accounting and tax services to his clients for over 20 years.

Outside of the business, Gerard enjoys:

He is married to the beautiful Cheryl and has three adult children and one grandchild.
Dan Merritt Senior Accountant
Dan has over 15 years public practice experience; originally working in Albury before moving to Melbourne to join G.E.Hewitt & Co. in 2006. Dan’s amiable country personality is popular with our clients and fellow team members alike. He is passionate about finding solutions for clients, especially their accounting software requirements; Dan is proficient with Xero, Reckon, MYOB and QuickBooks.

Outside the office, Dan loves spending time with his young family, playing golf and following anything sports related; but especially Aussie Rules (both local and the West Coast Eagles), all forms of cricket and NBA (Los Angeles Lakers).
Robyn Kerr ITR Specialist
Having clocked up 20 years with one of Australia’s biggest income tax return (ITR) preparation firms, there is nothing Robyn doesn’t know about personal income tax! Robyn has also been fulfilling her role at G.E.Hewitt & Co. since 2006, as well as taking on larger clients’ bookkeeping and payroll functions.
In her spare time, Robyn loves to travel. She has enjoyed trips to Hong Kong, Italy, London, Germany and a river boat cruise through Europe, and more recently a family Christmas holiday in New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Vegas and San Francisco.
Robyn also enjoys attending live theatre, music events and movies. The most important people in her life are husband John, her children and Cavoodles Harry and Archie.
Jade Hyett SMSF Administrator
Jade has had over 20 years experience in all things superannuation and joined G.E.Hewitt & Co. in 2011. Jade is an expert in the BGL Simple Fund software and handles 40-50 SMSFs within the firm.
Personally, Jade is busy raising her four children with her partner, Michael. She has a keen interest in all sports, but particularly the Australian Women’s National Basketball League, in which she once competed (for the Dandenong Rangers).
